LeBron James shocked the NBA after hinting at potentially retiring from the league following the 2023 playoffs.
James and the Los Angeles Lakers were swept by the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals, which led to the King’s premature hint at retirement.
Fast forward to now, James has gone back from his decision and revealed he’s not retiring from the league just yet.
James’ close friend and former teammate Dwyane Wade recently shared his opinion on James’ previous retirement comments via Club Shay Shay on Twitter.

Dwyane Wade was discussing James’ potential retirement with Shannon Sharpe on the Club Shay Shay podcast.
Wade was asked by Sharpe if he ever believed about James’ potential retirement from the NBA.
D-Wade laughed and claimed all his money was still in his pocket, hinting at never actually betting on James retiring.
The former Miami Heat superstar knows James like no other, and he was never worried about his career finishing.
With James announcing his return to the NBA for Year 21, many will hope to see the King win his fifth title of his career.
James will turn 39 years old in December 2023, making him one of the oldest active players in NBA history.
While James hasn’t let his age impact his career so far, he has become somewhat less consistent over the last few years.
Despite that, James averaged 28.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game in the 2022-23 season.
What’s next for arguably the best player in NBA history? Fans will find out soon.
