Did quarterback Justin Fields criticize the Chicago Bears coaching staff in a recent press conference?
When asked what’s leading him to overthink while playing, the former Ohio State standout mentioned “coaching.”
His statement led to various interpretations from football fans and media members alike.
However, NFL Network national correspondent Stacey Dales put Fields’ comments into perspective.
“He walked those comments back in the locker room, and in that portion of it, he said I take the blame. I think Justin Fields, guys, and I would appreciate your thoughts, too; he’s still learning how to do this whole thing. But bottom line is they gotta get those legs more involved moving forward,” Dales shared.

The Bears’ coaching staff appears to not be maximizing Fields’ capabilities when he only had four rushing attempts for three yards in their Week 2 loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
That defeat continues a 12-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Fields has won only five of his 27 starts with the Bears.
Allowing him to create plays and gain yards with his legs can help turn the tide for the Bears.
Relying more on his mobility can be a step in the right direction for the Bears.
In two games this season, Fields has already been sacked ten times.
Worst yet, left tackle Braxton Jones was placed on injured reserve.
