The Las Vegas Raiders may be 1-1 so far this season, but things overall aren’t looking too good for them.
Their one win came in Week 1 by one point against the struggling Denver Broncos, and they’re coming off an embarrassing 28-point loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
Perhaps the most pressing issue for Las Vegas right now is that of defensive end Chandler Jones, who has gone on rants against the team on social media lately.
Per Ian Rapoport, the Raiders have now put him on the non-football illness list.

Some of Jones’ posts about his team have been disturbing, but it needs him if it is to rebound after a disastrous 2022 season.
The Raiders went 6-11 in 2022, and after they had acquired All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams the previous offseason, it was seen as a big failure, especially after they blew multiple leads and lost several close games.
So far this year, they rank next-to-last in passing touchdowns allowed, and that is an area in which Jones can help if and when he returns to the team.
In 11 previous seasons, he had been named to the Pro Bowl four times and recorded double digits in sacks seven times while leading the NFL in that category in 2017.
While fellow Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby is a monster, he needs help, as many successful NFL pass rushes boast more than one stud on their front seven.
