After getting humiliated in Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers, the Pittsburgh Steelers managed to get a win in Week 2 over the rival Cleveland Browns to give them a 1-1 record.
It has led to hope that they could return to the playoffs, but the reality is that they have tons of work to do.
Through two weeks, Pittsburgh ranks just 26th in points scored and next-to-last in total yards, and much of Steeler Nation is frustrated with offensive coordinator Matt Canada.
When asked about that frustration, head coach Mike Tomlin gave a classy response by saying he appreciates their passion, via David Todd.

While Tomlin has yet to post a losing record since taking over the helm of the Steelers in the 2007 campaign, their offense has struggled mightily in Canada’s three seasons with them.
However, before one is quick to blame Canada for all of the Steelers’ offensive woes, it should be noted that he had an aged Ben Roethlisberger in his first season as offensive coordinator and a young, unproven Kenny Pickett under center since.
Job one for the storied franchise is getting its hands on its next franchise quarterback, and at least so far, it doesn’t appear it will be Pickett.
Through two games, he has completed 60.5 percent of his passes while throwing three interceptions and just two touchdown passes.
The good news for Pittsburgh is that with some prominent teams in the AFC currently struggling, they may have a pathway back to the playoffs, or at least to yet another season with a winning record.
