The Dallas Cowboys are starting to look like Super Bowl contenders after two blowout wins to start the new season.
In particular, their defense is looking savage, and the lynchpin of that defense is Micah Parsons, one of the NFL’s best pass rushers.
Meanwhile, in the AFC, the Baltimore Ravens are sending a message that they may have a real shot at getting to the big dance themselves after a 2-0 start of their own.
Parsons praised Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson, who looks revitalized so far this year, via B/R Gridiron.

For many months, Jackson had been angling for a huge contract extension, and for much of this offseason, it looked like he had one foot out the door after he couldn’t come to terms with management.
But the Ravens finally caved in and gave him a five-year deal that is worth $260 million, and with that issue settled, he has turned in some strong play to start the year.
In their surprising 27-24 win on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, Jackson completed 24 of 33 passes and threw for 237 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions while adding 54 yards on the ground.
He has a couple of new potent weapons in former Pro Bowl wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and rookie Zay Flowers, which has taken some of the pressure off him to carry Baltimore’s offense by running the ball himself.
Flowers is looking like a stud so far with 140 yards in his first two games, while Beckham has contributed 66 yards on five catches.
With the Bengals, New York Jets, and Kansas City Chiefs struggling, perhaps Baltimore will make a run at their third world championship this winter.
