There aren’t many agents in the NBA who can match the genius of Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul.

Paul is widely regarded as a super agent who has a vast clientele featuring some big names like LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Draymond Green.

In fact, Paul is known for his ability to negotiate phenomenal contracts for his clients, and it was on full display this offseason.

Following Jarred Vanderbilt’s new four-year, $48 million extension, Paul has done nearly $900 million in player salary negotiations this season, per Shams Charania via Stadium on Twitter.

Paul’s biggest deal this summer was getting Anthony Davis the richest contract extension in NBA history.

Thanks to Paul’s negotiating skills, Davis signed a three-year, $186 million extension with the Los Angeles Lakers.

In addition, Paul helped the likes of Jerami Grant, Draymond Green, and Fred VanVleet get lucrative deals from their respective NBA teams.

As for Vanderbilt’s new deal with the Lakers, Charania reported that the two sides had been trying to figure out a deal over the last few days.

Vanderbilt was traded to the Lakers mid-season and averaged 7.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game for the organization.

The biggest reason why the Purple and Gold extended Vanderbilt was his presence on the defensive end of the court.

Vanderbilt played terrific defense against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors in the 2023 Western Conference semifinals, thus earning respect from the NBA community.

Can Vanderbilt justify his agent getting him a terrific deal?
