When Aaron Rodgers went down with a torn Achilles early in Monday’s game between the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills, it looked like the Bills were a lock to take the contest.
After all, they have one of the NFL’s most talented rosters behind star quarterback Josh Allen, wide receiver Stefon Diggs, and a strong defense.
But Allen seemingly crumbled, as he threw three interceptions, allowing the Jets to erase Buffalo’s lead and win in overtime at MetLife Stadium.
Hall of Famer and FS1 personality Michael Irvin said on “Undisputed” that Diggs and head coach Sean McDermott were wrong to reprimand Allen for his poor performance.

It is uncommon to see Allen throw three picks in a game — in fact, he hadn’t done so since late in the 2021 season, and it was only the third time he did so since coming into the NFL.
The Bills have been one of the league’s front-running teams over the last three years, but during that time, they have only one trip to the AFC Championship Game to show for it.
There is a feeling that perhaps the clock is ticking on their chances of winning it all, especially amidst the reported tension between Diggs and the rest of the organization.
Their next two games will be relatively easy, as they will face the Las Vegas Raiders and Washington Commanders, both of whom missed the playoffs last season, but after that, they will play the Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars, and New York Giants.
