The Dallas Cowboys will head into the 2023 NFL season with a lot of pressure to live up to expectations, as the team’s defense could very well be the best in the league, led by the best defensive player in the league in linebacker Micah Parsons.

With a lot of speculation and debate about what this season will be like for the Cowboys, Parsons has been extremely vocal about his intentions, as he took to social media over the weekend with one poignant message to the football world.

Parsons let it be known that he fully intends to be a Super Bowl champion, which is a goal that all great players have in the NFL.

However, since he plays for the Cowboys, Parsons’ statement was blown out of proportion, as he said “I” rather than “we,” which has some thinking he may be thinking of a future elsewhere.

Craig Carton talked about Parsons’ message on his show and pointed out the “I” rather than “we,” but it seemed to be in a more joking manner, as he twisted it into him looking good in a New York Jets jersey, which is Carton’s favorite team.

Although there seems to be a lot of unnecessary noise coming out of Dallas right now, the fact of the matter is that this team is likely capable of winning a Super Bowl this season if both sides of the football are as advertised during the 2023 campaign.

If the defense in Dallas lives up to expectations and the offense is still humming with Dak Prescott under center, the Cowboys will be a force to be reckoned with.
