On Thursday, Ronald Acuna Jr. forever etched his name into the baseball history books when he crushed his 30th home run of the season.
That home run was a little extra special, as Acuna had already stolen 60 bases on the season, and he officially became the first player to ever hit 30 homers and steal 60 bases in a single season.
Prior to Friday’s game, the Los Angeles Dodgers gave the Atlanta Braves star a nice little gift, with Acuna’s former Braves teammate, Freddie Freeman presenting him with one of the bases he rounded when he hit his round-tripper.
The Braves posted the video on Twitter.

After Acuna received the gift from Freeman, the two former teammates embraced.
Freeman told his former teammates that he and the Dodgers wanted to give him a commemorative base so that he would always remember his major accomplishment.
Acuna even signed his name on the base as a way to recall this special moment.
He and Freeman may be on different sides these days, but the two of them appear to still be close, and Freeman was clearly very happy for his former teammate after he accomplished something truly special.
Now, Acuna will have something special from this game that he can keep with him for the rest of his life as he looks back on his historic achievement.
The Braves slugger may also not yet be done, as with a month remaining in the season, there is plenty of time for him to pull off more historic achievements.
