Bad news for the Buffalo Bills and their fans.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, they won’t have star pass-rusher Von Miller to begin the season, as the team won’t remove him from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list before Tuesday’s deadline.

That means Miller will miss the first four games of the season, which will happen vs. the New York Jets, Las Vegas Raiders, Washington Commanders, and Maimi Dolphins.
The 34-year-old veteran hurt his right ACL on Thanksgiving, and while there was hope about a potential return later in the campaign, he had to undergo exploratory surgery in December.
He had just signed a massive deal worth a whopping $120 million over six years and was on a roll with eight sacks (team-best) and 38 pressures in just 11 games.
He had already suffered a major ACL injury when he was still with the Denver Broncos almost ten years ago.
Miller repeatedly stated that he would be back on the field for his team’s Monday Night Football season opener vs. the New York Jets on September 11 and even stayed with the team throughout the course of the whole training camp.
However, that wasn’t possible, and it seems like we’ll have to wait for a little longer before we see him back out there.
