The Dallas Cowboys finished the 2022 season disappointingly by their high standards.
After an early playoff exit, the Cowboys are going back to the drawing board, hoping for better results in 2023.
Despite widespread criticism from pundits across the league, Fox Sports NFL has recently shared a promising stat for the Cowboys.
As they point out, the Cowboys have led the league in takeaways for the last two seasons, something that hasn’t been done since the 1970s.

The Cowboys have several dynamic playmakers on defense, helping them achieve this accolade.
They are consistently seen as a roster with great players on both sides of the ball.
For whatever reason, they haven’t been able to materialize this talent into massive playoff success.
They haven’t made it back to the Super Bowl since the 1995 season and for an organization that’s experienced past success, this is a problem.
Jerry Jones continues to invest significant capital in the team’s infrastructure, and the Cowboys are still known as “America’s Team.”
In a crowded NFC East, the Cowboys will need both sides of the ball to come together if they want any chance of reclaiming the division title.
The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off a dominant year, and the New York Giants have grown significantly during the offseason.
Even the Washington Commanders have received high praise lately, largely due to the growth of quarterback Sam Howell.
There is a lot of pressure on the Cowboys to succeed in 2023, both from internal and external factors.
Are they up for this massive challenge?
