The NFC North has two young quarterbacks trying to make a name for themselves in the NFL.

Justin Fields and Jordan Love are at the helm of historical organizations and are tasked with leading their respective teams.

Love is responsible for taking over the Green Bay Packers job from Aaron Rodgers.

In a recent segment of ‘Good Morning Football,’ Mike Garafolo outlined the pressure Love is under.

“He’s competing with whatever Rodgers does,” Garafolo said.

Garafolo indicated that Love is under far more duress than Fields with this caveat in mind.

Rodgers has moved on to the New York Jets, a sign the Packers were ready to move onto Love as their starter.

Love is expected to deliver in year one, demonstrating to the team that they made the right choice.

This is a different pressure than Fields is facing, given he is seen as a “developing” quarterback.

He didn’t have the mentorship of a player like Rodgers, something Love has been blessed with.

Rodgers sat under Brett Favre and played well when given the opportunity.

It’ll be up to Love and a young group of receivers to put the Packers’ offense back on the map, a season removed from missing the playoffs.

The Packers have traditionally been atop the NFC North, dominating the division for over 20 years.

Can Love bring back that level of success in 2023, knowing the current state of their divisional counterparts?

With less than a month to go until the season begins, Packers fans have a short wait to see how this plays out.
