James Harden still hasn’t been traded from the Philadelphia 76ers and it seems less and less likely that he will be.

That means that in just a matter of months, Harden will be called upon to attend training camp with his team.

That could create a very uncomfortable situation for everyone involved.

But Harden will still be there.

According to Vincent Goodwill, sources say Harden will attend Philadelphia’s training camp.

“Why would he not? When you know the chaos he could bring just by showing up,” the source told Goodwill.

So while Harden is planning to be at camp in a couple of months, he is going to attend to shake things up and create an even bigger distraction, not to actually practice with his team.

Harden’s time at training camp could be incredibly messy.

What sort of effect would it have on the rest of the team?

How can the squad and reigning MVP Joel Embiid focus on chemistry and culture when Harden is looming over everything like a storm cloud?

Meanwhile, the press will have a field day and only ask players about Harden and the drama around him.

All of this would definitely give Morey a massive headache.

It would also perhaps give him a push to finally send Harden away.

Maybe that is Harden’s plan and the main reason he will be suiting up for camp in the fall.
