Jamie Foxx is grateful for where he is today following his health scare earlier this year.
“You’re lookin at a man who is thankful… finally startin to feel like myself…” the Oscar winner wrote on Instagram Aug. 16 alongside a series of photos of himself, “it’s been an unexpected dark journey… but I can see the light…”
And Jamie appreciates his supporters who’ve kept him in their thoughts.
“I’m thankful to everyone that reached out and sent well wishes and prayers…” he added. “I have a lot of people to thank… u just don’t know how much it meant… I will be thanking all of you personally… and if you didn’t know… GOD IS GOOD… all day every day… #swipeleft #imbackandimbetter #nobaddays.”
Back in April, Jamie’s daughter Corinne Foxx shared that her father “experienced a medical complication.” Afterwards, several stars sent messages of support to the Ray actor—with him noting he appreciated “all the love.”
The following month, Corinne confirmed that he’d “been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating.”
