Kody Brown is taking accountability for his failed relationships.
The Sister Wives star recently opened up about the end of three of his four marriages ahead of the show’s 18th season. In the last two years, Kody parted ways with spouses Christine Brown, Janelle Brown and Meri Brown—all of whom he was in a spiritual marriage with—leaving him in a monogamous relationship with legal wife Robyn Brown.
“It’s been painful, a lot of finger pointing and blame,” the 54-year-old told People in an interview published August 16. “I could have done a lot better.”
Kody, who is dad to 18 children from his four marriages, added, “But you have to hope we still have a friendship in the future. Because we’re bound forever through our kids.”
And he isn’t the only one opening up about their new normal. Janelle, who was with Kody for almost 30 years before their 2022 split, noted of the future, “We’re all settling into the new path. There’s only possibilities in front of us.”
