Bobby Witt Jr. is one of baseball’s most exciting young players.

Witt came up last season and made his Major League debut with the Kansas City Royals.

His solid rookie season was enough to earn him some superfans.

One such superfan came all the way from Atlanta to see the Royals play on July 28.

A young girl named Rae attended the game at Kauffman Stadium between the Royals and the Minnesota Twins.

Witt is her favorite player and she got to see him hit a walk-off grand slam to win the game.

Rae was brought to tears of joy after seeing her favorite player come through.

Her parents took a video of the moment and Witt ended up seeing it, which prompted him to give her a special surprise.

The Royals posted a video of the surprise on Twitter.

After Witt saw the video of Rae crying tears of joy over his grand slam, he sent her a video message thanking her for the support and expressing what it meant to him to have her as a fan.

The young shortstop also sent Rae some signed baseball cards.

The video in the tweet features the moment when Rae received these signed cards after listening to Witt’s message.

Once again, Rae was brought to tears as she felt immense gratitude for what Witt had done for her.

She expressed her happiness over the situation, and the video ended with the Royals posting a message telling her they can’t wait to see her in Atlanta next year.

The Royals will be traveling to face the Atlanta Braves for the final weekend of the regular season.
