Even though his Milwaukee Bucks exited in the first round of the NBA playoffs this past season, Giannis Antetokounmpo is still one of the most talented and skilled players, if not the most, in the game.
He has two regular season MVP awards and one Defensive Player of the Year award to his name, and he is the proud owner of a world championship ring he earned two years ago.
He was seen giving coaching and mentorship to some basketball players in China, and he preached the importance of working on strength and conditioning, citing it as something that’s even more important than working on one’s basketball skills.

Antetokounmpo is one of the more physically imposing players in today’s game, but even though he stands at 6-foot-11 and weighs over 240 pounds, he is a greyhound on the fast break as if he were several inches shorter.
When he came into the NBA for the 2013-14 season, he was skinny and lanky, but he has certainly worked hard to bulk up and unlock his genetic potential as far as strength and athleticism.
The Bucks dealt with injuries for much of this past season, as Khris Middleton, arguably their second-best player, missed many games, and it may have disrupted their chemistry to the point of leading to their early playoff loss.
Antetokounmpo himself injured his back in Game 1 of the first round of the playoffs against the Miami Heat, and he didn’t return until Game 4.
By then, Milwaukee trailed the series two games to one, and his return was too little, too late.
