Tia Mowry is dating on her own time.
The Sister, Sister alum recently got candid about her quest to find love again after ending her 14-year marriage to Cory Hardrict last year.
“Fun Fact: I’ve never been on the dating scene my entire life,” she wrote in an Aug. 2 Instagram post. “So when I tell you I’m nervous and terrified of doing this whole dating thing, I mean it. Even though I’m in my 40’s, I feel so inexperienced!”
The 42-year-old acknowledged that “while it would be easy to just throw in the towel and avoid the potential for awkwardness and hurt, I know God’s got me!”
She added, in a message to fans who may be in a similar situation, “If you’re feeling apprehensive about new experiences, just know you got this, and we’re in this together!”
In her post, Tia also poked fun at her inexperience by sharing a video of herself rehearsing in the mirror for what appeared to be a date. As she puts on makeup, she lip-syncs to an audio track saying, “So, what do you do for work? Do you like it? Do you like it?”
