Basketball is a game of matchups, and the NBA features some of the best tacticians on Earth, not just the best players.

That’s why a single lineup combination could end up being the determinant en route to a championship and then be a major failure the very next season.

Even so, having two of the best players in the league should always put you in a position to compete for a ring.

With that in mind, NBA fan @ZGvisualz put together a player pool consisting of Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Kevin Durant, Tim Duncan, and Shaquille O’Neal to try and figure out which duo would be the most unstoppable.

Notably, Shaq chose himself alongside Stephen Curry, going as far as to call him his favorite player and stating that they would never lose (via NBA Retweet).

Truth be told, it’s hard to think of a much more dynamic combination than Curry and Shaq.

We already saw what prime Shaq was capable of with another talented scoring guard like Kobe Bryant, but perhaps Curry was better suited to play with him.

We’re talking about the single greatest shooter of all time paired with the most dominant physical force this game has ever seen.

Double and triple-teams were common against Shaq, but how on Earth are you going to stop him if you also have to keep an eye on Stephen Curry on the perimeter?

Also, while Kobe was infinitely better as a defender than Steph, this team wouldn’t even have to bother playing defense, as there would simply be no logical way of stopping them from scoring every time they put the ball on the floor.
