The success of the Sacramento Kings was one of the biggest NBA stories from last season.
After years of sitting toward the bottom of the Western Conference, the Kings were able to reach the playoffs and show some serious skill.
They didn’t make it far in the postseason but there is no doubt they are a team to watch because of their youthful energy and various incredible players.
One of those players, Domantas Sabonis, had the most double-doubles in the league last season.
As pointed out by StatMuse, Sabonis had 65 double-doubles in 2022-23.
He was followed by Finals MVP Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets with 58, Nikola Vucevic of the Chicago Bulls with 51, and Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks with 46.

These are four of the most talented stars in the league.
They are also four of the best big men.
Each of the men on this list typically plays power forward or center for their teams.
This leads to them not only scoring a lot but also chipping at the glass with rebounds or finding other players for assists.
Therefore, it’s no surprise that they had so many double-doubles.
Of course, it was Jokic who had the best season of these four and ended up winning a championship.
But each of the other three could prove a lot in 2023-24.
While Jokic attempts to win another championship, Vucevic will try to pull his team back into the playoffs.
Meanwhile, Antetokounmpo will want redemption after a shocking loss in the first round of the playoffs.
As for Sabonis, he will try to prove to Kings fans that last season wasn’t a fluke and Sacramento is here to stay.
