The Houston Texans could get a massive boost to their offense next season.

Obviously, adding C.J. Stroud at the quarterback position will do wonders for them in that regard, but they could also have an elite reinforcement in John Metchie III.

The Canadian has been quite impressive in training camp, and he left the fans in awe after the team posted a clip — which was later shared by PFF — of his elite route-running.

Metchie’s talents and God-given traits have never been put in doubt.

Even despite a history of injuries, he was taken with the No. 44 pick after a remarkable career with the Alabama Crimson Tide, as he showcased a promising future in the pros.

Metchie couldn’t be on the field for his rookie season after being diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia, but he’s fully cleared and ready to make a major impact right out of the gate now.

Of course, it might take a while before the Texans are ready to compete, and their offensive line could give them a lot of trouble next season.

But according to most reports, Metchie has already developed an impressive rapport with Stroud and could even be thrown into the mix as their WR1 right away.

Barring injury, they could form one of the most explosive and entertaining duos to watch in the league for years to come, and the sole fact that he’s able to be on the field after all he’s been through will be motivation enough for him to prove himself on every single snap.
