The 24-year-old Taylor is in the final year of his rookie contract.
Taylor led the league during his sophomore season in 2021 in rushing yards (1,811 yards) and touchdowns (18). He was an All-Pro selection and was named to the Pro Bowl.
Ankle injuries, including a season-ending high ankle sprain on Dec. 17, limited Taylor to 11 games last year. He finished the season with 861 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
Taylor, who had ankle surgery in January, was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list earlier this week.
The Colts missed the playoffs in 2022 with a 4-12 record.
