Some people were wondering how Obi Toppin would fit in with his new team, the Indiana Pacers.
If footage from him playing alongside Tyrese Haliburton in a pro-am game is any indication, he is going to fit in quite well.
The Pacers posted a video of Toppin receiving a between-the-legs assist from Haliburton during a Dizzy Runs Pro-Am game.
The smile on Toppin’s face after he makes the bucket is all that fans needed to see.
It looks like he is already enjoying himself with his teammate.

Over his first three seasons in the NBA, Toppin has only played for the New York Knicks.
During that time, the power forward averaged 7.4 points and 2.8 rebounds.
The Knicks were using Toppin less and less (he only played for an average of 15 minutes last season) and it seemed like he could be the next player to fall out of rotation.
Instead, he was signed by the Pacers, a team that is on the rise.
During the last season, their record was just 35-47, landing them in 11th place in the East.
However, even though they didn’t score a lot of wins, they did show some serious promise under their new head coach Rick Carlisle.
Andrew Nemhard, Buddy Hield, Bennedict Mathurin, and Myles Turner are important parts of the team.
But Haliburton is clearly the big star for the Pacers, averaging 20.7 points and 10.4 rebounds in 2022-23.
That earned him his first All-Star selection and had people calling him one of the best guards in the league.
Toppin may have joined up with the Pacers at the perfect time.
