There are so many great players in the NFL that sometimes a few get overlooked.

It is common for a very good player to consistently be underrated based on where he plays or other factors.

One position with a few underrated players is the quarterback position.

To be an NFL QB you have to be able to spin the ball at an elite level.

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins came up with his most underrated quarterback in a recent interview.

He said it is Las Vegas Raiders QB Jimmy Garoppolo.

Cousins mentioned how everywhere Garoppolo has been he has won.

But each offseason it seems like his team is trying to get rid of him.

Garoppolo has started 57 games in his career and he has a record of 40-17 in those games.

There was a reason the Raiders gave him a massive contract to be their quarterback.

Las Vegas decided to move on from Derek Carr for Garoppolo.

From the outside that may seem like a bad move but the Raiders were not having much success with Carr.

It was time for them to try something new and that is when they came across Garoppolo.

Also, Jimmy G now gets to work with Josh McDaniels again who was his offensive coordinator in New England.

If Garoppolo can lead the Raiders to the playoffs in a division as tough as the AFC West, he should get all the credit.

It will be interesting to see how the 31-year-old quarterback performs in his first year with the Raiders.
