Last season, one of the most surprising teams in the NFL was the New York Giants, who got a complete culture makeover by new head coach Brian Daboll.

Daboll went on to win NFL Coach of the Year in his first season with the Giants, paving the way for what could be a promising future in New York.

As a result of the Giants being a team on the rise in the NFL, New York has started to draw interest from players looking to compete for a title in the twilight of their careers in the league.

On Friday, the Giants were able to bring in one of those players, with veteran wide receiver Cole Beasley agreeing to a one-year deal with the team, which sparked a reaction from up-and-coming wideout Isaiah Hodgins.

It didn’t take long for Beasley to respond to his new teammate on Twitter, who is looking forward to the opportunity to play in New York.

After a successful stint with the Buffalo Bills, things got a bit complicated for Beasley, who was heard from more off the field than on it due to his strong stances on the COVID-19 pandemic.

Beasley being as vocal as he was about the pandemic has hurt his career, which at one point was very promising as he was an essential part of what they were doing in Buffalo.

The veteran wideout now hopes to start fresh in the Big Apple and join the likes of Hodgins, Darius Slayton and Paris Campbell as part of the receiving corps in New York.
