Red Bull’s competitors are about to receive some unwelcome news as the dominant leaders of the F1 championship are gearing up to introduce a significant upgrade package at the Hungarian Grand Prix.
As reported by AMuS, a German publication, Red Bull is planning to implement visible modifications to their sidepod and bodywork design at the Hungaroring.
Red Bull is optimistic that this upgrade will grant them an advantage of approximately 0.2 seconds per lap. If successful, it could result in yet another effortless victory for Max Verstappen.
As the European season nears its conclusion with only two races remaining before the summer break, teams are eager to implement any final upgrades before shifting their focus to next year’s car.
Following his recent triumph at Silverstone, Verstappen issued a foreboding warning to his adversaries regarding the potential gains Red Bull might achieve with future upgrades.

Verstappen stated, “Thus far, the consistent factor has been our ability to dominate every single weekend, which, naturally, is of utmost importance to us. Hungary presents a completely different track, and we will be introducing some upgrades there with hopes that they perform admirably.”
