Not too many people are picking the Miami Dolphins to win the Super Bowl this coming season, but they do have a very impressive roster.

At the very least, they will be very competitive, not to mention explosive, as long as they remain healthy.

In fact, former NFL player and current analyst Emmanuel Acho feels the Dolphins are the “most dangerous” team in the league right now.

Acho made it clear that this doesn’t mean Miami is the best team, but that at their peak, they could very well be the best team around in those moments.

He pointed out the sensational wide receiver tandem of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, who had 1,710 and 1,356 receiving yards, respectively, last season and who both have outstanding speed downfield.

Miami may not have the best front seven around, but they have a fearsome secondary with Pro Bowl cornerbacks Xavien Howard and Jalen Ramsey, as well as the up-and-coming Jevon Holland at safety.

Acho also talked about new defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, who has guided a number of high-level defenses over the years, most notably with the San Francisco 49ers about a decade ago.

Defense was a bone of contention for Miami last season, as they finished 24th in points allowed, 26th in passing touchdowns allowed, and 27th in passing yards given up.

But of course, they will only go as far as quarterback Tua Tagovailoa takes them.

While he certainly showed significant improvement in 2022, he also suffered multiple concussions, and whether he will stay healthy is the million-dollar question moving forward.
