One thing that all sports fans love to do is compare players.

Especially quarterbacks in the NFL.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts are often talked about and compared.

Depending on who you ask there are many different viewpoints on these two players.

Yet, former Cowboys wide receiver Terrance Williams said he prefers Prescott to Hurts.

Williams said Hurts is “more of a runner” while Prescott is “the best of both worlds.”

This is an interesting take from Williams that many Eagles fans will not take kindly to.

Hurts is coming off a year where he finished second in MVP voting.

Also, he made great strides as a passer and looked more comfortable in the Eagles’ offense.

Yet, Williams is not wrong in the sense that Hurts is a “ground and pound” quarterback.

His best asset is his legs which make him a problem for opposing defenses.

Hurts rushed for 760 yards and 13 touchdowns last season.

When comparing both quarterbacks as passers, Prescott has been much more effective.

Prescott averaged 261 passing yards per game over the past two seasons, while Hurts averaged 228.

Prescott also threw for 23 touchdown passes last season in only 12 games.

Hurts threw for 22 in 15 games.

It will be interesting to see how both of these quarterbacks can perform for a full season.

Each missed games due to an injury last year.
