ACC football and basketball games have found another home: the CW Network.
The conference and network announced the new partnership Thursday, which will mark the first time the network will air college sports. The deal came through Raycom Sports as the company sold its right to the CW, but it will continue to produce all games on the network.
“We are thrilled to be adding The CW to our weekly television lineup for ACC football and basketball games,” said ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips, Ph.D. “The CW’s national distribution will directly benefit our student-athletes, teams, alumni and fans. We appreciate ESPN and Raycom working together and look forward to the partnership with The CW.”

What and how many ACC games will be the CW Network?
The deal means 50 ACC college football and basketball games will air on the CW Network each season through 2026-27. The first game to air on the network will be college football on Sept. 9 when the Pittsburgh Panthers host the Cincinnati Bearcats. Here is a breakdown of ACC sports on the CW:
- There will be 13 football games on the CW Network, airing every Saturday in the afternoon or in primetime.
- There will be 28 men’s basketball games and nine women’s basketball games in December, January and February. The men’s basketball games will be doubleheaders every Saturday afternoon, while the women’s basketball games will air on Sunday afternoons.
What is the CW Network?
The CW Network is known for being the home of several shows like “Riverdale,” “All American” as well as old superhero shows like “The Flash” and “Arrow.” While this will be the first time the CW will air college sports, it won’t be the first sports programming on the network; it’s currently the home of the controversial LIV Golf.
