If you have been shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale already, you may have missed a thing or two, but have no fear – you have until August 6th to purchase the products at a major discount. After that, prices will go back up to normal.
ANNIVERSARY SALE SHOPPING TIPS & TRICKS
- Anything that you love and want for yourself, add to your wish list and check out once the sale is live for your card level [reminder: if you don’t have a card, the public sale starts July 17th]! If it isn’t currently available in your size and color preference, things are always coming in and out of stock, so check back often!
- Remember that Nordstrom always offers free shipping and free returns! Because of this, I would recommend ordering two sizes on things you are unsure of, to make sure that you can get it at the sale price and return the one that doesn’t work!
- Some of the items I mention may currently be out of stock, but check back often for restocks! We’ll also be notifying you of restocks over on our Facebook page and #NSALE group [highly recommend joining the group for a ton of helpful info and nightly giveaways!]
- Keep in mind that while the sale lasts until 8/6, things go quick so don’t be like N*Sync and have to say “bye, bye, bye” to everything before it’s gone – shop early!

Jeans weren’t my first choice to style this jacket with. But in-store they didn’t have a whole lot of activewear bottoms that fit my petite frame. So I threw it on with some jeans and actually don’t hate the two paired together! I would prefer a pair of leggings or running shorts.

I love how oversized and comfortable this pullover is! I picture myself lounging in this drop of sunshine on a rainy day. Again, I wouldn’t typically pair this crewneck with jeans, although it certainly can work! But was limited on activewear bottoms in my size 🙂 (side note: the lighting in the dressing room made this look a bit brighter than it does in person.)

I’m not sure what was happening with this…. The sleeves were WAY too tight in my normal size but even sizing up they didn’t get any looser, they just got longer lol I really wanted to love this one too!
MISS: Outdoor Voices Dress [runs small, size up 1-2 sizes, wearing L]
They’re not joking when they say this one runs small. Size up 1-2 sizes! Wearing a large here, and still wasn’t flattering on my figure! Feels like great quality, but be sure to give yourself some wiggle room. PS. there’s no built-in padding and I personally didn’t feel comfortable going braless [and certainly NOT going to opt for a strapless with this one!]
MISS: Zella Hooded Jacket [TTS, wearing M] / Zella Leggings [TTS] / Adidas Sneakers [size down .5]
I was so excited about this jacket, but didn’t love the way the mesh area draped once it was on and didn’t know what to do with the ties in the front! It just didn’t turn out the way I envisioned it. Pass for me!
Miss: Nike Set

Here’s the deal, I think both of these pieces would be great worn separately or in a different color. They didn’t have my size in store [runs HUGE, size down one!] and it was just so. much. pink. #Fail

High expectations, low results. This Nike set was too big and frumpy, even though it was in the cutest pink!

While I wanted to love this activewear dress it was just too sheer, low cut, and not supportive – maybe with a good sports bra it could work!

I found this long sleeve T just a tad too “relaxed” for me in the fit! I should have maybe tried it in a small to see if I liked the way it fit better, so for that – I filed it as a miss for me!

I really love the color of this tank, and loved that fact that it had a built in “bra” – but I found the built in “bra” not enough support for the girls! So I would still have to wear a sports bra under it.. hence the fail for having to essentially wear 2 bras haha.
