Blue Jays select Canadians O’Halloran, Shaw on Day 2 of MLB Draft

After selecting Arjun Nimmala with their lone pick on the first night of the 2023 MLB Draft, the Toronto Blue Jays added seven players on Day 2 of the event.

In the fifth and ninth rounds, the Blue Jays added a pair of Canadians, selecting University of Michigan pitcher and Mississauga, Ont. native Connor O’Halloran, 157th overall and Victoria, B.C. high schooler infielder Sam Shaw 274th.
