The Dallas Cowboys need to get over the hump once and for all.
It’s been way too long since they last won a Super Bowl, and it doesn’t seem like they have what it takes to put an end to that title drought this season.
And a lot of that has to do with their quarterback situation, as Colin Cowherd believes this team will be very dependent on Dak Prescott after all the major departures they’ve suffered.
Cowherd went on to state that the narrative about Dak proving himself is false, as people already know exactly what he is.
“It’s ridiculous to expect Dak to get over the hump… As it would be for Kirk Cousins.”

He said that he’s just a slightly more athletic Kirk Cousins, comparing several metrics and stating that no one actually expects anything from Cousins, so why would anyone expect anything different from Dak?
Colin Cowherd doesn’t seem to be too high on Prescott, so maybe his words should be taken with a grain of salt.
But truth be told, there’s absolutely no indication or reason to believe that he’s going to be better than he’s been for the better part of his career next season.
He does have a solid set of targets in the passing game, but the Cowboys are likely to be more dependent on the running game, with Tony Pollard leading the way.
They know they stand a better chance of winning when their offense is away from the field, especially after watching their quarterback lead the league in interceptions last season despite not even starting all 17 games.
