The Chicago Bears feel like they have their quarterback of the future.
After selecting Justin Fields in the first round of the 2021 draft the Bears hoped Fields could solve their QB issues.
While he struggled to throw the ball over his first two seasons the Bears feel confident in a third-year leap for Fields.
According to NFL Insider Jeremy Fowler via Daniel Greenberg, Fields has been “slingin’ it” this offseason.
“The people I’ve spoken to out of Chicago say that Justin Fields is ‘slingin’ it’ this offseason and that he’s had a nice command of the Bears offense. He’s changing plays at the line of scrimmage and feels good about taking ownership of things.”

Fields has taken command of the offense and feels comfortable changing plays at the line of scrimmage.
This upcoming season is where Fields is expected to establish himself as one of the top quarterbacks in the NFC.
Many fans are happy to see that Fields is taking more control of the offense.
changing plays at the line is music to my ears https://t.co/TFYJaIIvDg

The Bears have a chance to be a sneaky good team in 2023.
They have a strong roster and added a key skill player in D.J. Moore this offseason.
At this point, the Bears have to buy into Fields.
He made improvements from year one to year two and could make a big leap in year three.
Love hearing this!! In Fields We Trust!! https://t.co/6UBqf9gBBe

He is an elite athlete and rushing will always be a major part of his game.
But relying on his arm to win games will be what the Bears need.
It is a passing league and Fields can be a great passer.
This doesn’t sound like a RB to me 🤷🏽♂️ https://t.co/kXXkwEDNDT

The NFC North is up for grabs this year with Aaron Rodgers now out of the division.
It might just be the Bears’ time to finally reclaim a division title.
Love it https://t.co/cJDC8MKw7C
