Veteran NBA star Bradley Beal could be on the move this offseason, and a number of teams should be interested in him if that is the case.

He has been languishing on some bad and mediocre Washington Wizards teams over the years, and the 29-year-old may deserve a real shot at a Larry O’Brien Trophy.

There have been rumors that the Miami Heat, a team he has been linked to over the last few years, will go after him, but there is another team that could be in the market for him.

Shams Charania tweeted that the Sacramento Kings have talked to Washington about trying to land Beal.

The Kings have been languishing in the NBA’s dungeon for years themselves, but this season, they went through a metamorphosis that saw them claim the third seed in the Western Conference and make the playoffs for the first time since 2006.

They have a young and explosive roster headlined by All-Star guard De’Aaron Fox and star center Domantas Sabonis, and Beal could be just the player they need to become true title contenders.

Beal, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard, averaged 23.2 points on a career-high 50.6 percent field-goal accuracy and 5.4 assists a game this year.

He has made the All-Star team three times, and he has made five postseason appearances, which would make him an experienced addition for one lucky team.

Beal has four years left on his current contract at well over $40 million per annum, the final year of which is a player option for the 2026-27 campaign.
