The NBA has been in very good hands for the last several years.
There has been an influx of young superstars joining established mainstays such as LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant, while scoring has exploded from 100 points a game in the 2014-15 season to 114.7 a game this season.
Next season, Victor Wembanyama, who has been tabbed as a generational talent, will enter the league, and he is expected to be drafted by the San Antonio Spurs, a team that has some history of possessing star big men.
After his French team, Metropolitans 92, lost in the LNB Pro A championship series, he will now turn his attention in earnest to making the transition to the NBA.
Monaco will beat Metropolitans 92 in Game 3 of the LNB Pro A championship series to claim the French league title.
The next time we’ll see Victor Wenbanyama is a week from today, when he will be the top pick by the Spurs in the NBA Draft. Wenbanyama had 22 points in today’s game

Wembanyama is an immense rim protector and a very good rebounder, but it is his offensive ability that has people excited.
Although his offensive game is still a work in progress, he possesses ball-handling skills and a fluidity that is unheard of for someone as tall as he is.
In 34 games this season, he averaged 21.6 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 3.0 blocked shots a game while shooting 47.0 percent from the field and 82.8 percent from the free-throw line.
Some are concerned about the fact that he currently has a very thin frame, but he may have a little bit of time to fill it out.
The Spurs won five NBA championships with Hall-of-Famer Tim Duncan in the middle, and just prior to Duncan’s arrival in 1997, David Robinson, who played his last six years with Duncan, was their dominant center.
