As the Buffalo Bills hold their offseason minicamp, there was one noticeable absence on Tuesday.

Pro Bowl wide receiver Stefon Diggs left before the team hit the field on Tuesday, and there are rumors that he is unhappy about something.

Could it be an issue with a teammate, or is it possibly something having to do with his contract?

Insider Field Yates noted that Diggs signed a very generous contract extension last offseason that is one of the biggest contracts given to a wideout.

Diggs is central to the Bills’ hopes of winning their first-ever Super Bowl, as he is one of the NFL’s best players at his position.

He put up 1,429 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2022, which earned him his third straight Pro Bowl nod, and he has posted over 1,200 receiving yards in each of the last three seasons.

Needless to say, if this Diggs saga doesn’t get resolved soon, the Bills will be in lots of trouble once the new season starts.

They were picked by many to win the Super Bowl at the start of last season, but despite going 13-3 in the regular season, they fell hard in the divisional round to the Cincinnati Bengals, 27-10.

That loss came a year after their heart-wrenching setback in overtime of the divisional round to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Although most of Buffalo’s core is still intact, they have added linebacker Leonard Floyd, who won a Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams just over a year ago, and they drafted tight end Dalton Kincaid, who has lots of potential.

If they get the Diggs situation resolved, they could end up with their first-ever Vince Lombardi Trophy next February.
