Security was not letting any fans get in the way of Nick Taylor’s celebration after winning the RBC Canadian Open.
Not even longtime friend Adam Hadwin.
As Taylor’s dramatic playoff win unfolded, his countrymates, watched and cheered as he completed the first victory on home soil since 1954.

For Hadwin, the fan experience continued as he rushed the green after Taylor drained his tournament-clinching 72-foot putt, with security tackling the 35-year-old to the ground as he tried to spray the winner with what appeared to be champagne.
All is well, that ends well, though. Hadwin was helped up by the security guard and the pair appeared to be smiling after the incident.
Hadwin’s wife, Jessica, took to Twitter to share that her husband was in fact, alright.

Taylor and Hadwin both grew up in Abbotsford, B.C. and have the same home course.
Fellow Canadian golfer Mackenzie Hughes also shared a picture on Twitter proving that Hadwin was still in good spirits.

Hadwin had a solid showing over the weekend, tying for 12th and shooting 11-under.
