The Denver Nuggets deserve all the credit for putting together a talented and hard-working team that has reached the NBA Finals this season.

The front office has done an excellent job bringing in the right players to maximize Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray’s chances to win the NBA championship.

The 2023 NBA Playoffs have been the biggest proof of how well-constructed this team is.

Besides their two superstars, the Nuggets have role players ready to stand under the spotlight whenever the team needs it.

JJ Redick recently explained that one of these players has become the X-factor during the NBA Finals, praising Aaron Gordon for his contributions.

“Who’s the X factor? Who’s the key? Besides the stars, it’s Aaron Gordon. This guy has delivered time and time again throughout these playoffs.”

Gordon has played at a high level this postseason, not only taking on the hardest defensive task every series but taking on a scoring role when the team needs him to.

He has impacted the game in more than one way.

In Game 4 he had 27 points, adding seven rebounds and six assists.

Gordon’s career suffered a major change when he joined the Nuggets following his stint with the Orlando Magic.

He’s now much more than a dunker and has embraced his role on the Nuggets on the way to the NBA championship.

The Nuggets are a terrific team with two superstars leading the way.

But it’s players like Gordon that have shown up at the right moment to help them secure crucial wins.
