The H.T. Hackney Company, of Indianapolis, IN, is recalling various Fresh location salad mixes because there may be metal in the product.

According to the recall posted by the FDA, the recall was initiated on May 16, 2023, and is ongoing.

The products were distributed in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.

Recalled products:

  • Fresh location Apple Cranberry Walnut Salad, 7.5oz clear plastic container, UPC 8 55110 00815 2
  • Fresh location Turkey Caesar Salad, 7.5oz clear plastic container, UPC 8 50036 69402 1
  • Fresh location Chef Salad with Ranch, 8.75oz clear plastic container, UPC 8 55110 00810 7
  • Fresh location Garden Salad with Ranch, 7.25oz clear plastic container, UPC 8 55110 00811 4
  • Fresh location Caesar Salad, 6.00oz clear plastic container, UPC 8 55110 00801 5

Consumers who purchased the recalled product should immediately dispose of it and not consume it.
