Coaching in the NFL is a very stressful job, and there is almost no such thing as tenure, as a good coach can get fired at any time if management feels he isn’t getting the job done.
Over the last few years, the Buffalo Bills have been one of the league’s best teams, as they boast MVP-caliber quarterback Josh Allen, an outstanding wide receiver in Stefon Diggs, and one of the game’s best defenses.
But despite all their talent, they have fallen short each year in the playoffs, and they have made only one appearance in the AFC Championship Game with Allen under center.
It has led analyst Adam Schein to believe that Bills head coach Sean McDermott is under the most pressure of any head coach heading into the 2023 season.

A year ago, many were picking Buffalo to not only win the conference but to also win the Super Bowl.
They started the season 6-1 and had a six-game winning streak when disaster struck in the form of safety Damar Hamlin’s near-fatal cardiac arrest episode late in the season during a highly anticipated game versus the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Bills then got blown out in the Divisional round of the playoffs by the Bengals, 27-10.
Expectations will be running high for the team once again this fall, and if they do not reach the Super Bowl, management may have to take a closer look and make some changes in order to get over the hump.
Buffalo hasn’t reached the Super Bowl since the 1993 season, and they have never won a Vince Lombardi Trophy.
