Game 2 of the NBA Finals will get underway on Sunday night in the Mile High City, with all the pressure on the Miami Heat to win before heading home to face the Denver Nuggets in Game 3 and Game 4 at the Kayesa Center.

One of the keys to getting a win in Game 2 to even the series at one game apiece will be the Heat containing star guard Jamal Murray, who always seems to excel in the NBA playoffs, and this year is no different.

In Game 1, Murray finished with 26 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds, helping lead the Nuggets to an 11-point victory on the road to start the series.

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green thinks the Heat should switch up their strategy on how to contain Murray, with Miami putting Jimmy Butler on the Nuggets star in Game 2, as he said on his podcast via The Volume.

This isn’t a bad strategy from Green, and it could make an impact on the game if Erik Spoelstra and his coaching staff decide to go that route.

One thing is for sure, the Heat can’t come out with the same strategy and energy that they had in Game 1, as it was utterly ineffective and resulted in the Nuggets cruising to victory and taking the series lead right out of the gate.

Game 2’s outcome will be crucial to how the rest of the series pans out, as a win for Miami changes the series entirely, and a win for Denver potentially makes it a foregone conclusion that they’ll be lifting the Larry O’Brien Trophy when it’s all said and done.
