With Game 1 of the NBA Finals in the books with a dominant performance by the Denver Nuggets, things are getting a bit blown out of proportion with every stat being analyzed nonstop.

Yes, two-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic recorded another triple-double and dominated the Miami Heat with ease.

Jokic continues to dominate the competition while putting his impressive skills on display and will likely cement his legacy as one of the greatest players of all time if the Nuggets win the title.

However, the trolling is getting out of hand with the ridiculous stats coming out of Game 1.

Basketball Reference is the latest to get in on the fun, saying the Nuggets have the best winning percentage in the history of the NBA Finals.

Jokes aside, the Nuggets are on pace to win the first NBA title in the franchise’s history, with the team playing exceptional team basketball and not missing a beat after a nine-day rest between the Western Conference Finals and the NBA Finals.

Even though the Heat can’t be counted out in this series after what Jimmy Butler and company have been able to accomplish throughout the playoffs thus far, the Nuggets look virtually unbeatable at this point and might be able to continue that level of play unless there’s an injury or two.

On Sunday, the Finals will get back underway in Denver, with the Nuggets hoping to take a 2-0 series lead before the series shifts to Miami for Game 3 and Game 4.
