Even though DeAndre Hopkins didn’t gauge a lot of trade interest when the rumors of his desire to leave the Arizona Cardinals took social media by storm, that doesn’t mean he’s not a highly-coveted asset right now.

Hopkins’ steep salary and the Cardinals’ pretended compensation made it tough for any team to even try and make an offer for his services, but that’s no longer the case.

And with multiple teams reportedly trying to sign the former Houston Texans star, NFL insider Nick Shook points at the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, and Detroit Lions as the best fits for him.

Notably, the Bills were reportedly the leading candidates to trade for him months ago, with star LB Von Miller stating that it was almost a done deal.

As a matter of fact, Hopkins also confirmed that he would like to play opposite Stefon Diggs and catch passes from Josh Allen.

Needless to say, the Chiefs would be an obvious fit for a playmaker like him, given that they have arguably the best quarterback in the game and one of the most explosive offenses as a whole.

Andy Reid’s team could have a vacancy in the passing game with JuJu Smith-Schuster gone, and he’d be a massive upgrade over the former Steelers’ pass-catcher.

Last but not least, the Lions do make for a somewhat interesting fit.

They already have two young studs in Jameson Williams and Amon-Ra St. Brown, and they’d obviously benefit from his mentorship.

But they may not be as ready to compete as the other aforementioned teams, so it’s hard to think of them as legit candidates to get him.
