On Thursday, the New York Yankees wrapped up their three-game series with their AL East rivals in the Baltimore Orioles.

Baltimore won by a final score of 3-1 and secured a series victory.

However, there were some positives to take out of yesterday’s game for the Yankees, particularly the fact that slugger and reigning AL MVP Aaron Judge brought somebody special to the ballpark.

Judge brought his puppy, Gus to Yankee Stadium on Thursday.

Before the game, the slugger was hanging out with Gus on the field, playing fetch and giving him some treats.

MLB posted a video of Judge and his little companion having some fun at Yankee Stadium.

Gus is certainly a cute little dog, and he got a nice reward for being a good boy.

Animals and sports don’t often intersect with one another.

But when they do, it’s always important to enjoy those moments.

In the video, Yankees announcer Michael Kay discussed how this was the most relaxed he had ever seen Judge on a baseball field.

The reigning MVP also raced with Gus for a little bit and let him explore his newfound surroundings at the ballpark while tossing a tennis ball and playing fetch with his little companion.

It was easy to see that Gus was having himself a good time at Yankee Stadium as he got to run around in new territory and receive some well-deserved love from Judge.

Hopefully, this isn’t the only time we’ll see Gus at Yankee Stadium and that he’ll return in the future.
