Disclosure: Thank you to Nordstrom Beauty and Collective Voice for sponsoring today’s post. All products were selected and loved by yours truly.

Oh, the power of some good eye makeup tools. It’s amazing how I can go from “barely alive” to “bright-eyed and bushy-tailed” in a matter of 5 minutes and 12 swipes of mascara. After getting asked frequently about my eye makeup routine [which cracks me up knowing I’ve done the same exact thing since I was 15 years old — my ability to change makeup routines is non-existent] I thought I’d finally share my complete eye makeup routine from a-z! As you’ll see, it’s quite simple and doesn’t require a lot of skill. What it does require though? Good products.

Insert all of my favorites from Nordstrom Beauty. They carry every single item I use on my lids [lashes, brows, everything]. I love that it’s a one-stop shop for all of my favorite brands and products – from Urban Decay to Benefit Cosmetics, and so many more, it’s my constant source of high-quality brands at fast free shipping!

Now, let’s start with a little “before” shot and walk you through the steps it takes to make an “after” that wants to leave the house 😉 Here she is – a full face of makeup sans anything eye makeup related. Time to spruce her up.

First things first – let’s get to the BASE[ics].

At the start of every eye makeup routine is a great primer [or at least there should be] to guarantee all-day wear! This Urban Decay primer is super easy to apply with a few swipes across the lid, ensuring your shadow will go on smoothly and withstand all that your day is about to throw its way.

Now it gets fun. I’m a huge fan of the Urban Decay Naked Palettes and have been using this Naked3 palette for several months now. The first thing I do is take the color “strange” and apply it all over my entire lid, up to my brow bone. This provides a light-colored base to my entire eye to brighten it!

Next up, I take a little bit of the colors “liar” and “mugshot” and blend the two to apply right on my brow bone area and into the outer crease to add a little dimension!

I then take the color “darkheart” and use my go-to Smokey Eye Brush Set to line the bottom eyelash line. This gives the look of liner without being too dramatic. I add a little bit of the light “strange” shade to the bottom inner crease to brighten my eyes as well!

Once I have the shadow done, it’s brow time! Let’s talk about 2 of my favorite brow must-haves!

First up, neuBROW. The reason I have any eyebrows at all. I have seen tremendous growth and fullness since using this product [give it 6 weeks and then you’ll start to notice new growth sprouting up everywhere!]

And the next brow product to add any extra coverage in the bare spots is this Precisely, My Brow pencil. I love that one edge is the pencil and the other is a brush to blend it. It’s super easy to use and works like a charm!

Now that we’ve got our brows all filled in and lookin’ fly, it’s time to move to lashes — my favorite eye topic.

We can’t forget about the curls when it comes to giving those babies a lift. This eyelash curler gets the lashes up nice and high [I use this before applying any mascara]!

Much like my brows, I swear by this neuLASH lash serum for ultimate lash growth. A few swipes at night along my lash line and those babies are growing for days.

Now that we’ve got the lashes all curled and lengthened, it’s time to treat ’em to a good ole dose of mascara. Not just any mascara though – Better than Sex Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara. Any mascara that claims it’s better than s-e-x is a mascara for me. While I may not *fully* agree [wink] it does pack a pretty powerful punch.

I always do a few coats to the front and back of my lashes [by swiping the back, it makes them so much fuller and helps elongate them]! I also coat the bottom lashes to make my eyes the star of the party.

And just like that, she’s ready to leave the house. Somebody grab this girl a cocktail, it’s time to party!

ps. When it is time to come home for the night, this Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover for Sensitive Skin is my trusted sidekick to get it all off! Until tomorrow…
