There have been plenty of reports about the Boston Celtics as of late.
From them never being able to recover from Ime Udoka’s firing to them not even liking each other, it’s been the same story with this team for years now.
That’s why Jaylen Brown took some time to set the record straight again, citing that those reports are simply not true and that the team is focused on the important things.
“You start to hear all these stories come out about X Y and Z… 99% of them not true at all.”

Of course, it’s always hard to address these subjects when things aren’t going well, and it’s not unusual to see these kinds of stories surface when a team is struggling.
But the fact that this has happened with this Celtics’ core in particular every single year might make some people think that there could be some truth to them.
Marcus Smart got in his teammates’ faces a couple of years ago after struggling in the playoffs.
Not so long ago, Blake Griffin also admitted that a Celtics player told him not to sign with the team because of their dysfunctional dynamics, and so on.
Obviously, you don’t have to like every single one of your coworkers to be successful at your job, but team chemistry could take you a long way in the NBA, and it just seems like they don’t have any at times.
Then again, no one would even discuss that if they were leading instead of trailing in this series, and that’s why they need to focus on getting back on track and not on the outside noise.
