The Denver Nuggets are living a magical moment during the 2023 NBA playoffs.

After a big win over the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 3 of their Western Conference Finals series, everybody was in awe of Jamal Murray.

The talented point guard had to endure critical situations over the last two years, which made him think he would be traded away.

Michael Malone recently shared a story of how Murray felt right after he got hurt, revealing that the player thought he would be shipped somewhere else.

Bleacher Report shared the remarks, as seen below.

Malone knew it would be a tough and long process for Murray, but he wouldn’t be alone.

He would be back better than ever, and time proved him right.

Now, the point guard is playing at a great level, confirming that he’s one of the best at his position in the entire NBA.

He’s taken his Nuggets to this stage and is torching the Lakers in the WCF.

Patience paid off for him and his team, even when people thought the Nuggets were ready to move on from him.

Many people claimed his performances in the bubble were just a fluke, but Murray has shown that he was ready to take over the league.

He’s averaged 35.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists against the Lakers in three games, securing the Western Conference Finals MVP award with his heroics.

The Nuggets are looking like a championship team, and as long as Murray is healthy and playing at this level, they will be hard to beat.

The Lakers still have hope to beat the Nuggets, but Murray is locked in to sweep them on Monday.
