The New England Patriots are coming off a disappointing season.

They failed to make the playoffs, finishing the regular season with a record of 8-9.

One reason the Patriots struggled last year was because their offense was not good.

Quarterback Mac Jones had a bad season, and he was not helped out much by his play-caller.

The Patriots had Matt Patricia call plays last season and it ended up being a disaster.

So, the Patriots decided to move on from Patricia for former offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien.

This move should help unlock Jones and allow him to reach his fullest potential.

According to insider Mike Giardi via Dov Kleiman, Jones looks more energized this offseason.

His teammates say he is “Confident. Leading like we know he can.”

The Patriots will only be able to go as far as Jones can take them.

He was a Pro Bowler in his rookie season, and the Patriots are hoping he can get back to that.

Many fans are optimistic that Jones is going to put together a huge season this year.

Playing in one of the toughest divisions in football, Jones will need to make improvements.

He needs to show he can be a franchise quarterback.

The lack of a true play-caller last season led the Patriots’ offense down a dark path.

This could be a make-or-break year as the starter in New England.

Thinking Jones will be the next Tom Brady is foolish.

But he can become a franchise quarterback and someone the Patriots can build around for many years to come.
