The NFL is full of legendary players that have made an impact on and off the field.

One of the greatest ambassadors for the NFL was former Cleveland Browns running back Jim Brown.

Unfortunately, he passed away on Friday at the age of 87.

Many NFL people knew what Brown meant to the game and how great of a player he was.

Colts Owner Jim Irsay even put Brown number one on his greatest players of all time list.

On Irsay’s list, he has plenty of NFL Legends including, Tom Brady, John Elway, Deacon Jones, and Reggie White.

But many NFL fans had some questions about Irsay’s list.

They think he has left a few very good names off.

Also, being the Colts owner you would think he would have one of his players on here.

Not having Peyton Manning on his top-five list is certainly an interesting choice.

Some Colts fans may not take that the right way.

In a league full of great players it is hard to choose just five.

But it seems like Irsay is leaving a few big names off of his list.

Ultimately, it is Irsay’s opinion on who he has on his top five list.

There has rarely ever been a list where everyone agrees.

That seems to be the case here.

It is surprising though that Irsay chose to not include the best player in the history of his franchise on his list.

Despite the debate that could go down for many of these spots, it is clear Brown belongs in the top five on any list.
