The Memphis Grizzlies 2022-23 NBA season may be finished, but they’re still making headlines.

In the worst way to start the day, the team learned about a video going around social media showing Ja Morant flashing a gun.

The player was already involved in the same controversy before, and now things are getting serious again.

The team released a statement announcing they are suspending the player from all team activities.

“We are aware of the social media video involving Ja Morant. He is suspended from all team activities pending league review. We have no further comment at this time,” the statement reads.

This is a serious situation for the team, as they obviously want to get away from this kind of image.

Morant vowed to do better after he returned from his first suspension and after the season ended for the Grizzlies.

Those promises didn’t last that long and now the player is being investigated by the NBA for the same incident.

Morant is one of the future faces in the league, but his off-court behavior can jeopardize that.

It remains to be seen if the league will set a precedent with another suspension for Morant or if they give him another short-term suspension.
